Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve

I have been out to the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve twice now.

It is a great place with lots of trails and Blinds for watching birds. I have spent several hours here walking the trails from the Reserve down to the Vedder River and back but I have not yet seen a Blue Heron here. It just might not be the right time of year. I see a lot of Herons at the Sea Shore this time of year , fishing at low tide. Maybe the Herons here have moved on to the Sea Shore.
