The Great Folk Roots Americana , Singer , Songwriter Tom Russell paid our a city a visit a couple of weeks back and was outstanding as usual.

Tom started his Singing , Songwriting career right here in Vancouver. I think he has a special place in his heart for Vancouver as he plays here at least once a year. I must have seen him 10 or 12 times and have never been disappointed.

Its been a good month here in Vancouver , 3 wks ago Dave Alvin was in town. Now his buddy Tom Russell rolled into town. Tom is , without a doubt , one of the greatest Singer Songwriters alive today.

Dave Alvin was in town a few weeks ago playing a sold out show at St. James Hall in Vancouver.

Dave played accoustic guitar all night but was accompanied by his buddy Chris Miller of "The Guilty Men" Dave's regular touring band.
